I want your photos to tell YOUR story not a generic wedding tale. When documenting your wedding day the end photos should feel how your day felt; that is my ultimate goal! You will be holding onto your wedding photographs for life, your albums will become family heirlooms. I would love to photograph your wedding day and create meaningful images for you, your family, and your guests. Have fun, be yourself, interact with your loved ones, and let me do the work of documenting these moments you will cherish forever!
My overall style is Illustrative, which is basically a fancy way of saying that I blend traditional with photojournalism. Essentially I place the couples in an interesting environment, make them feel comforable with one another, relax, interact, all the while capturing the spontaneous candid moments that happen in between. When it comes to photos of your family and guests I do take the traditional family portraits, however the remainder of the day I do prefer to take candid 'photojournalism' shots of guests talking, laughing, smiling, etc.
Random Facts About Me
I live in Clawson with my boyfriend, Brian. He's pretty cool and he has a beard, as you can see in the icon. He's also creative and makes video games. And he LOVES it when I put my icy cold hands on his back (he screams with joy).
We have 2 pets, a dog named Maxx and a cat named Merle. Maxx is a Black Lab/Pitt mix and he is a giant cuddly baby. Merle... is Merle. She's a bit crazy and literally tries to eat anything; gauze, paper, screws, toilet paper, plastic bags, anything.
I love sharks. I've gone swimming with them in Jamaica and even have a giant shark head (fake of course) mounted to the wall in my bedroom.
My favorite president is Theodore Roosevelt.
I have been a vegetarian for 13 years.
I went to the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. I have a Bachelors degree in photography.
My favorite place is the Mojave Desert.
I love to read. My favorite book is 'The Road' by Cormac McCarthy. The movie they made from the book is pretty awesome too!
I have an insect collection. Yes... this is true... They aren't just dead bugs though, they are magnificent scientific specimens.
